sxsw here it comes

this week starts sxsw here in austin, it's so much fun. tons of people in town to see films, hear music, eat bbq and drink beer. i will be doing all of that. and then some.

knitted wonderland

shelley and i took stuart down to the Blanton on Saturday to see the Knitted Wonderland.
it was so colorful and fun! he loved the soft knit on the trees. see how he leans into them? too cute!

no greens

we had moody and adrian over for dinner the other night....jeff cooked up some delicious grass-fed ribeyes, grilled shrimp and spaghetti squash pad thai in avocados. he said "hey, why don't you make a salad" and i said "oh no, we have plenty to eat". look how sad the plate looks with no greens! i should have made the salad moody and adrian. sorry!
but thanks for the great night and the amazing wine!

no guilt - gilt groupe!

ok, so i know ghee isn't "technically" ours...but when i saw this little bed on gilt groupe, i had to order it! i think ghee was unsure at first, but i think he is living it up now. i love how he always has a paw up on the ledge. don't you?

Shelley had an errand or something, i cannot remember, but the point is i was lucky enough to get 2 hours with my main man Stuart!
he's getting so big....and look at how sweet those little feet are, i could eat them up!

NYC into valentines day into LA!

i had a whirlwind February....traveling to NYC, home for Valentine's day, then on to LA. Here are some of my favorites from those 2 weeks:

Got to have a delicious dinner in LA with Shelby and Irene....this is one of her earrings, GORGEOUS, right? It's laying on top of my "driver" from the Four Seasons...their house car is a Bentley! yep, i made it take me to BARNEYS! i sure did!

back in time....

ok, so i think the last post was on new year's eve! a LOT has happened since then, i will try to compress it all into a few posts, and then will be back on schedule. it won't happen again!
We had SNOW in austin....can you believe it? enough to shut down the city for 2 days, heaven!
Ghee was not too crazy about the snow, luckily he had his cozy scarf to warm him up! thank goodness ghee!
